  1. Send us a picture (preferred) or a detailed description of your gown & we’ll send you an estimate.

  2. Once you approve the estimate, we’ll send you a carton with a pre-paid return label to our facility, fully insured up to the value of your gown.

  3. Place your gown in the carton & seal it. Drop off the package at a convenient location like UPS, FedEx, Staples, etc.

  4. We’ll return your gown clean, preserved, & ready for future generations!

  • Wedding & Special Occasion Gown Preservation pricing varies depending on the style of dress, material, layers, embellishments, stains, etc. We review each dress & provide a quote based on the image or description. Images are preferred. Preservation typically starts at $295 for a very simple dress & can range up to $1000 for very delicate or intricate gowns. The average cost of most gown preservations range from $400 to $600.

  • Gown Preservation is a very intensive undertaking. Each garment is inspected for the smallest rip, mark, stain, or other imperfection & repaired before cleaning. Spot-treatment & cleaning are done by hand using a variety of methods & machines before the full garment is cleaned. It is essential all body oils are removed to prevent yellowing. Each layer of the dress is then hand-pressed before an acid-free bust is inserted to maintain the shape. Once fully pressed the dress is delicately folded & placed into one of our custom tissue lined acid-free window box. That inner box is sealed with an outer carton, & then the outer carton is placed into a regular box and shrink-wrapped to keep the dress as airtight as possible while in storage. We offer free local pickup & delivery or free pickup & return shipping nationwide.

  • YES! Gown Preservation is most commonly done after a wedding, but we also preserve quinceañera dresses, christening gowns, first communion dresses, & other heirloom-quality gowns.

  • The complexity of the dress & any stains or repairs needing attention may extend the preservation timeline, but we strive to return every garment as quickly as possible; typically within a few weeks. If you need it back quickly, we do accommodate rush requests if our production schedule allows. Please note, preservation is meant for long-term storage. If you plan on wearing the same garment again within 12 months, we recommend dry cleaning only.

  • We don’t recommend opening the inner chamber or touching your gown until a few weeks before you plan to wear it again or have it altered for the next wearer. Touching a preserved gown introduces oils to the fabric that may result in yellowing over time. Keeping the carton sealed and airtight is preferred, but you’re always welcome to take a peak. Your dress was expertly folded to fit inside the carton & be admired through the viewing window.

  • We’ve been in business since 1964 & aren’t going anywhere soon. We’ve even preserved the same gowns for multiple generations to enjoy. Should you unbox your gown & discover an issue, call us immediately. We will pickup & reclean at no charge if needed. While each dress is pressed before being boxed, some touch up steaming or pressing will be needed to remove the wrinkles from folding. This is normal & should be expected.
